Kansas High School Basketball - Cedar Vale/Dexter ripped by Oxford
(January 27, 2012: Oxford, KS 67119) The Oxford Wildcats basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans to 45 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Argonia for a South Central Border contest on Tuesday, January 31. Oxford will meet a Red Raiders team coming off a 63-25 league loss to Flinthills (Rosalia, KS). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-11.
The Spartans (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sedan (Sedan, KS). The Devils enter the South Central Border contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Sedan trounced Caldwell (Caldwell, KS), 64-17, in a league contest.
