(February 7, 2012: Alhambra, CA 91801) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Keppel Aztecs (Alhambra, CA) and the visiting Montebello Oilers (Montebello, CA), saw Keppel's basketball squad hold off Montebello by a score of 58-51.
With the win, Keppel advances its record to 18-8 on the season. The Aztecs travel to San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA) to clash with the Matadors in a Almont test on Friday, February 10. The Matadors go into the test with a record of 4-18. San Gabriel lost 49-48 in their recent league test against Alhambra (Alhambra, CA)
The Oilers now own a 9-17 record. They take the field next when they host Schurr for a Almont test on Friday, February 10. Montebello will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 68-56 league win over Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-17.
