Western Harnett Eagles football team (Lillington, NC), was knocked off
28-13 in Friday's league challenge with the host
South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC)
The Trojans (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against
Overhills (Spring Lake, NC). The Jaguars come into the
Cape Fear Valley challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge,
Overhills was knocked off by
Triton (Erwin, NC),
21-14, in a league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to
Southern Lee for a
Cape Fear Valley challenge on Friday, October 19.
Western Harnett will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a
44-20 league win over
Grays Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-4.
