(February 15, 2011: Middletown, NY 10940) Middletown Middie Bears (Middletown, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pine Bush Bushmen (Pine Bush, NY), 75-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Middletown upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Middie Bears travel to Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY) to play the Goldbacks in a Section 9 Orange County I bout on Thursday, February 17. The Goldbacks go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Newburgh Free Academy won 52-45 in their recent league bout against Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY)

Next up, the Bushmen play the Washingtonville Wizards (Washingtonville, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 17. Pine Bush will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Wizards go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 52-42 league win over Warwick (Warwick, NY).
