West Virginia High School Basketball - Roane County falls to South Harrison
(January 22, 2008: Lost Creek, WV 26385) The
South Harrison Hawks basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting
Roane County Raiders to 32 in the Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hawks now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to
Braxton County for a
Little Kanawha contest on Monday, January 28.
The Raiders (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against
Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV). The Tigers enter the
Little Kanawha contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest,
Wirt County ran past
Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV),
84-24, in a league contest.
