(February 4, 2009: St. Petersburg, FL 33710) St. Petersburg Catholic Barons (St. Petersburg, FL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Academy of the Holy Names (Tampa, FL), 56-48 in a non-league test.

The Barons (20-5) will now prepare for their test against Tampa Catholic (Tampa, FL). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 24-2 record. In their last test, Tampa Catholic defeated Berkeley Prep (Tampa, FL), 74-44, in a non-league test.
