California High School Basketball - St. Monica falls to Marymount

(January 21, 2012: Santa Monica, CA 90403) The Marymount Sailors basketball squad scored 45 points and restricted the host St. Monica Mariners to 33 in the Sailors non-league victory on Saturday.

With the victory, Marymount upgrades its record to 12-10 on the campaign. The Sailors host Rolling Hills Prep (San Pedro, CA) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 9-2. Rolling Hills Prep won 68-32 in their recent non-league bout against Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA)

Next up, the Mariners play the Cantwell-Sacred Heart Cardinals (Montebello, CA) in a Camino Real bout, on Tuesday, January 24. St. Monica will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 59-11 non-league win over St. Matthias (Downey, CA).
