(January 31, 2012: Orinda, CA 94563) In Tuesday's league outing, the Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Dublin Gaels (Dublin, CA), by a count of 61-56.

The Matadors (14-7) will now prepare for their outing against Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Bulldogs go into the Diablo Foothill outing with a 5-14 record. In their last outing, Alhambra was tipped by Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA), 82-41, in a league outing.

The Gaels now hold a 15-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Las Lomas for a Diablo Foothill outing on Friday, February 3. Dublin will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 82-41 league win over Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Knights record now stands at 14-8.
