Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Garden Spot fells Manheim Central

(February 3, 2012: New Holland, PA 17557) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Garden Spot Spartans (New Holland, PA) and the visiting Manheim Central Barons (Manheim, PA), saw Garden Spot's basketball squad overcome Manheim Central by a count of 60-43.

With the victory, Garden Spot upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Lampeter-Strasburg (Lampeter, PA) to play the Pioneers in a Lancaster-Lebanon 3 challenge on Monday, February 6. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 18-2. Lampeter-Strasburg won 68-50 in their recent league challenge against Northern Lebanon (Fredericksburg, PA)

Next up, the Barons play the Eastern Lebanon County Raiders (Myerstown, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon 3 challenge, on Monday, February 6. Manheim Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 72-29 league loss to Donegal (Mt. Joy, PA).
