Arizona High School Basketball - Arcadia prevails South Mountain

(January 17, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85018) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Arcadia Titans (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ), saw Arcadia's basketball squad knock off South Mountain by a score of 62-48.

With the victory, Arcadia improves its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Titans host Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Sunrise Mountain won 60-42 in their recent league challenge against Liberty (Peoria, AZ)

Next up, the Jaguars battle the Sierra Linda Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ) in a II Section III challenge, on Thursday, January 19. South Mountain will attempt to improve on its 13-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 44-42 league win over Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ).
