(January 26, 2012: Yankton, SD 57078) Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD) and the visiting O'Gorman Knights (Sioux Falls, SD), saw Yankton's basketball squad knock off O'Gorman by a score of 52-43.
With the victory, Yankton improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Bucks/Gazelles host Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD) to battle the Lynx in a AA District 2 challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Lynx come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Brandon Valley won 68-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Huron (Huron, SD)
Next up, the Knights battle the Washington Warriors (Sioux Falls, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 2. O'Gorman will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 61-48 non-league win over Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD).
