(January 14, 2012: Los Angeles, CA 90046) Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Narbonne Gauchos (Harbor City, CA), saw Fairfax's basketball squad knock off Narbonne by a score of 51-40.

With the victory, Fairfax improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Lions host LACES (Los Angeles, CA) to battle the Unicorns in a Western challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Unicorns come into the challenge with a record of 18-6. LACES won 47-42 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA)

Next up, the Gauchos battle the San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) in a Marine challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Narbonne will attempt to advance on its 7-11 season record. The Pirates go into the test with a 10-9 record after their 69-56 league loss to Banning (Wilmington, CA).
