Florida High School Baseball - Keswick Christian loses to Calvary Christian

(March 5, 2009: St. Petersburg, FL 33708) The Calvary Christian Warriors crushed the host Keswick Christian Crusaders baseball team by a tally of 7-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Warriors now hold a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop McLaughlin Catholic for a 2A District 9 bout on Tuesday, March 10. Calvary Christian will face a Hurricanes team coming off a 10-4 league win over Tampa Prep (Tampa, FL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-3.

Next, the Crusaders face the Northside Christian Mustangs (St. Petersburg, FL) in a 2A District 11 bout, on Friday, March 6. Keswick Christian will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 8-7 league win over St. Stephen's Episcopal (Bradenton, FL).
