Arizona High School Basketball - Valley Lutheran prevails Red Mesa

(December 28, 2011: Teec Nos Pos, AZ 86514) Valley Lutheran Flames (Phoenix, AZ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Red Mesa Redskins (Teec Nos Pos, AZ), 52-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valley Lutheran upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Flames travel to Gallup Catholic (Gallup, NM) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Gallup Catholic won 76-72 in their recent non-league bout against Quemado (Quemado, NM)

Next up, the Redskins encounter the Pinon Eagles (Pinon, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Red Mesa will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
