(December 9, 2008: Inverness, FL 34452) Citrus Hurricanes (Inverness, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Lecanto Panthers (Lecanto, FL), 65-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Citrus upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Hurricanes host West Port (Ocala, FL) to encounter the Wolf Pack in a 4A District 6 bout on Friday, December 12. The Wolf Pack go into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Panthers encounter the Belleview Rattlers /Diamo (Belleview, FL) in a 4A District 6 bout, on Friday, December 12. Lecanto will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.
