(January 31, 2012: Lawndale, CA 90260) The Leuzinger Olympians basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Palos Verdes Peninsula Panthers to 60 in the Olympians league triumph on Tuesday.

The Olympians now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mira Costa for a Bay contest on Friday, February 3. Leuzinger will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 67-57 league win over Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-7.

The Panthers (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA). The Sea Kings enter the Bay contest with a 6-17 record. In their last contest, Palos Verdes was nudged by West (Torrance, CA), 41-39, in a league contest.
