California High School Basketball - McLane crushes Mendota

(December 3, 2011: Fresno, CA 93703) McLane Highlanders (Fresno, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mendota Aztecs (Mendota, CA), 70-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, McLane upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Sunnyside (Fresno, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, December 5. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Aztecs play the Corcoran Panthers (Corcoran, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Mendota will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 59-49 non-league win over Golden West (Visalia, CA).
