Massachusetts High School Basketball - Andover crushes Lowell

(January 13, 2012: Lowell, MA 01852) Andover Golden Warriors (Andover, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they saw their basketball squad trounce the host Lowell Red Raiders (Lowell, MA), 61-36 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Andover improves its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Golden Warriors travel to Dracut (Dracut, MA) to battle the Middies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Middies come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Dracut lost 60-33 in their recent league challenge against Chelmsford (North Chelmsford, MA)

Next up, the Red Raiders battle the Central Catholic Raiders (Lawrence, MA) in a Merrimack Valley - Large challenge, on Friday, February 3. Lowell will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
