Arizona High School Basketball - Cholla winner over Rio Rico
(January 23, 2012: Rio Rico, AZ 85648) The Cholla Chargers (Tucson, AZ) basketball knocked off the host Rio Rico Hawks (Rio Rico, AZ), 69-52 in Monday's non-league test.
The Chargers (14-10) will now prepare for their test against Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ). The Dorados go into the II Section I contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Canyon del Oro ran past San Manuel (San Manuel, AZ), 61-47, in a league contest.
The Hawks (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ). The Caballeros enter the non-league contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Flowing Wells lost by Amphitheater (Tucson, AZ), 66-45, in a league contest.
