(October 26, 2007: Severn, MD 21144) The St. Mary Saints football team (Annapolis, MD), was tipped 21-19 in Friday's league challenge with the host Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD)

The Cavaliers (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Boys Latin (Baltimore, MD). The Lakers come into the MIAA B challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Boys Latin nipped Carroll (Bel Air, MD), 27-7, in a league challenge.

The Saints now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Paul's Boys for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 2. St. Mary will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-4.
