(September 29, 2007: Laurel, MD 20707) In Saturday's league match, the visiting Oxon Hill Clippers football squad scored a good 39-12 victory over the Laurel Spartans.
In their next game, the Clippers clash with the Flowers Jaguars (Springdale, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A match, on Saturday, October 6. Oxon Hill will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Jaguars enter the match with a 4-0 record after their 25-0 league win over Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD).
The Spartans (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Parkdale (Riverdale, MD). The Panthers enter the Prince George's County 4A match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Parkdale ran past Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD), 28-0, in a league match.
