(December 27, 2007: Irving, TX 75063) The Ranchview Wolves (Irving, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Austin Maroons (Austin, TX), 80-75 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Wolves (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Crockett (Crockett, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 12-1 record. In their last test, Crockett got by Waco (Waco, TX), 75-49, in a non-league test.

The Maroons now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Seguin for a 5A Region IV District 25 test on Wednesday, January 2. Austin will clash with a Matadors squad coming off a 66-64 non-league loss to Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 5-4.
