Texas High School Basketball - Frenship fells Palo Duro
(January 11, 2012: Wolfforth, TX 79382) Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad beat the visiting Palo Duro Dons (Amarillo, TX), 52-44 in a league test.
The Tigers (17-5) will now prepare for their test against Randall (Amarillo, TX). The Raiders go into the 4A Region I District 3 test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Randall defeated Dumas (Dumas, TX), 41-40, in a league test.
The Dons now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plainview for a 4A Region I District 3 test on Friday, January 13. Palo Duro will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 56-25 league win over Hereford (Hereford, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-5.
