The Senators now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jacksonville for a Central State Eight match on Friday, October 14. Springfield will clash with a Crimsons squad coming off a 35-7 league loss to Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL). The Crimsons record now stands at 4-3.
The Railsplitters (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Taylorville (Taylorville, IL). The Tornadoes enter the Central State Eight match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Taylorville dropped by Mater Dei (Breese, IL), 42-21, in a non-league match.
