Arizona High School Basketball - Pusch Ridge Christian Academy fells Catalina Foothills

(January 20, 2012: Tucson, AZ 85737) Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions (Tucson, AZ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Catalina Foothills Falcons (Tucson, AZ), 54-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 20-1. Valley Christian won 75-30 in their recent non-league bout against Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ)

Next up, the Falcons play the Amphitheater Panthers (Tucson, AZ) in a II Section I bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Catalina Foothills will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 6-18 record after their 50-10 league loss to Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ).
