New Mexico High School Baseball - Sandia gets by Valley
(April 30, 2009: Albuquerque, NM 87110) Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), saw Sandia's baseball squad knock off Valley by a count of 7-4.
The Vikings now possess a 12-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Cueva for a 5A District 2 battle on Saturday, May 2. Valley will play a Bears squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Bears record now stands at 22-2.
