Arizona High School Football - Higley drops to Williams Field

(September 30, 2011: Gilbert, AZ 85297) In Friday's league game, the Williams Field Black Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) football team knocked off the host Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), by a final score of 49-22.

The Black Hawks (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ). The Prospectors come into the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Apache Junction was beaten by Tempe (Tempe, AZ), 30-14, in a league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Queen Creek for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 6. Higley will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 28-17 non-league loss to Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.
