(January 24, 2012: Portland, OR 97217) The Jefferson Democrats basketball team (Portland, OR), was nudged 54-50 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Cleveland Warriors (Portland, OR)
The Warriors now sport a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Benson Tech for a 5A Portland contest on Friday, January 27. Cleveland will meet a Techmen team coming off a 81-47 league win over Franklin (Portland, OR). The Techmen record now stands at 14-2.
The Democrats (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Portland, OR). The Senators come into the 5A Portland contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Madison edged Wilson (Portland, OR), 54-53, in a league contest.
