California High School Basketball - Parker trounces Mountain Empire

(February 8, 2012: San Diego, CA 92111) The Parker Lancers (San Diego, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Mountain Empire Red Hawks (Pine Valley, CA), 70-9 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Lancers (7-15) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop's (La Jolla, CA). The Knights go into the Coastal - South outing with a 16-6 record. In their last outing, Bishop's smashed San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA), 81-32, in a non-league outing.

The Red Hawks now own a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Julian for a Citrus - East outing on Friday, February 10. Mountain Empire will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 55-16 league win over Borrego Springs (Borrego Springs, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-11.
