Illinois High School Basketball - Stevenson smashes Mundelein
(January 12, 2012: Lincolnshire, IL 60069) The Stevenson Patriots basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Mundelein Mustangs to 13 in the Patriots league triumph on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren for a North Suburban - Lake contest on Saturday, January 14. Stevenson will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 42-26 league win over Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-6.
The Mustangs (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL). The Bears enter the North Suburban - Lake contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Lake Zurich was routed by Libertyville (Libertyville, IL), 43-38, in a league contest.
