(January 20, 2012: San Diego, CA 92129) Rancho Bernardo Broncos (San Diego, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA), 63-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rancho Bernardo upgrades its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Broncos host Westview (San Diego, CA) to play the Wolverines in a Palomar bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 15-4. Westview won 76-60 in their recent league bout against Ramona (Ramona, CA)

Next up, the Sundevils play the Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA) in a Palomar bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Mt. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 57-54 league loss to Poway (Poway, CA).
