Victory Christian Lions football team (Pell City, AL), was tipped
20-17 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting
Ragland Purple Devils (Ragland, AL)
The Purple Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against
Jefferson Christian Academy (Birmingham, AL). The Eagles come into the
1A Region 5 challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge,
Jefferson Christian Academy was tipped by
St. Bernard Prep (Cullman, AL),
36-34, in a league challenge.
The Lions now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to
Jacksonville Christian Academy for a
1A Region 5 challenge on Friday, September 12.
Victory Christian will meet a Thunder team coming off a
33-7 league loss to
Appalachian (Oneonta, AL). The Thunder record now stands at 0-2.
