(February 27, 2009: Brandon, FL 33510) Newsome Wolves (Lithia, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Brandon Eagles (Brandon, FL), 5-0 in a league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freedom for a 5A District 8 challenge on Friday, March 6.

With the loss, Brandon falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Armwood (Seffner, FL) to battle the Hawks in a 5A District 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 3. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 1-3.
