Colorado High School Basketball - Mullen can't hold off Heritage

(January 9, 2012: Littleton, CO 80120) The Heritage Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Mullen Mustangs to 56 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Denver East for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Heritage will meet a Angels team coming off a 60-49 non-league loss to Palmer (Colorado Springs, CO). The Angels record now stands at 5-5.

The Mustangs (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Overland (Aurora, CO). The Trailblazers enter the 5A/4A Centennial contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Overland nudged Montbello (Denver, CO), 63-49, in a non-league contest.
