Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Phelps succumbs to Episcopal Academy

(December 15, 2011: Newtown Square, PA 19066) The Episcopal Academy Churchmen topped the visiting Phelps Lions basketball team by a final score of 53-36 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Churchmen face the Bullis Bulldogs (Potomac, MD) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 17. Episcopal Academy will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 6-0 record after their 63-49 non-league win over Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD).

With the defeat, Phelps moves to 6-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA) to face the Panthers in a Tri-County game on Wednesday, January 4. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 5-1. Perkiomen won 56-34 in their recent non-league game against Chestnut Hill Academy (Philadelphia, PA)
