North Carolina High School Basketball - E.E. Smith nips South View

(January 6, 2012: Fayetteville, NC 28301) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls (Fayetteville, NC) and the visiting South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC), saw E.E. Smith's basketball squad hold off South View by a score of 68-63.

With the victory, E.E. Smith improves its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Golden Bulls travel to Westover (Fayetteville, NC) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Westover won 66-43 in their recent league challenge against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC)

Next up, the Tigers battle the Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC) in a 4A Mid-South challenge, on Friday, January 13. South View will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record.
