(January 20, 2009: North Caldwell, NJ 07006) The West Morris Mendham Minutemen (Mendham, NJ) basketball felled the host West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ), 76-57 in Tuesday's league test.

The Minutemen (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ). The Knights go into the Iron Hills - Hills test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Morris Hills defeated Summit (Summit, NJ), 53-45, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chatham for a Iron Hills - Hills test on Friday, January 23. West Essex will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 69-53 league win over Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 7-3.
