Mississippi High School Basketball - Gulfport can't hold off Biloxi

(December 16, 2011: Gulfport, MS 39507) The Biloxi Indians basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Gulfport Admirals to 50 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pass Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Biloxi will meet a Pirates team coming off a 64-56 league win over Perry Central (New Augusta, MS). The Pirates record now stands at 4-6.

Next up, the Admirals play the Madison Ridgeland Academy Patriots (Madison, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Gulfport will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 50-49 non-league loss to Washington (Greenville, MS).
