(December 27, 2011: Lynn, MA 01902) Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lynn English Bulldogs (Lynn, MA) and the host St. Mary's Spartans (Lynn, MA), saw Lynn English's basketball squad hold off St. Mary's by a score of 60-56.

With the victory, Lynn English improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lynn Classical (Lynn, MA) to battle the Rams in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Lynn Classical lost 45-36 in their recent league challenge against Salem (Salem, MA)

Next up, the Spartans battle the Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners (Peabody, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 30. St. Mary's will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Tanners come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 53-30 league loss to Lynn English (Lynn, MA).
