Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain View edges Desert Mountain

(January 18, 2012: Mesa, AZ 85213) The Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) basketball nipped the visiting Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), 73-67 in Wednesday's league test.

The Toros (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Hayden (Phoenix, AZ). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Hayden was tipped by Chavez (Laveen, AZ), 72-53, in a league test.

The Wolves now own a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they host Maryvale for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Desert Mountain will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 74-38 league loss to Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 2-14.
