Pennsylvania High School Football - Saucon Valley drops to Bangor

(September 26, 2008: Hellertown, PA 18055) In Friday's league game, the Bangor Slaters (Bangor, PA) football team knocked off the host Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA), by a final score of 32-14.

The Slaters (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA). The Spartans come into the Colonial game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Southern Lehigh toppled Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA), 51-0, in a league game.

The Panthers now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Notre Dame-Green Pond for a Colonial game on Friday, October 3. Saucon Valley will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 51-0 league loss to Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-5.
