Arizona High School Basketball - Camp Verde topples Mingus
(January 24, 2012: Camp Verde, AZ 86322) In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Camp Verde Cowboys (Camp Verde, AZ) basketball squad beat the visiting Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ), by a margin of 34-22.
The Cowboys (17-4) will now prepare for their outing against Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ). The Bears go into the non-league outing with a 14-4 record. In their last outing, Bradshaw Mountain gained a win over Moon Valley (Phoenix, AZ), 49-41, in a league outing.
The Marauders now own a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coconino for a II Section II match on Thursday, January 26. Mingus will confront a Panthers team coming off a 56-52 league win over Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 6-11.
