Florida High School Basketball - Seabreeze holds off Spruce Creek

(December 11, 2010: Port Orange, FL 32127) Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Seabreeze Sandcrabs (Daytona Beach, FL) and the host Spruce Creek Hawks (Port Orange, FL), saw Seabreeze's basketball squad hold off Spruce Creek by a count of 56-52.

With the victory, Seabreeze upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Sandcrabs travel to Deltona (Deltona, FL) to play the Wolves in a 6A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, December 14. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 2-6.

Next up, the Hawks play the DeLand Bulldogs (DeLand, FL) in a 6A District 2 challenge, on Wednesday, December 15. Spruce Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 61-20 league win over Pine Ridge (Deltona, FL).
