(December 23, 2011: San Jose, CA 95132) Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA), saw Piedmont Hills's basketball squad overcome Milpitas by a count of 58-39.

With the victory, Piedmont Hills upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Pirates host Freedom (Oakley, CA) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 27. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Freedom lost 61-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Burbank (Sacramento, CA)

Next up, the Trojans play the James Lick Comets (San Jose, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Milpitas will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record.
