North Carolina High School Volleyball - Cary crushed by Apex
(August 23, 2011: Apex, NC 27502) The Apex Cougars topped the visiting Cary Imps volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cougars now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Panther Creek for a 4A Conference 6 test on Thursday, August 25. Apex will confront a Catamount team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Catamount record now stands at 1-2.
The Imps (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Fuquay-Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals enter the 4A Conference 6 test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Fuquay-Varina gained a win over Lee County (Sanford, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
