Oregon High School Basketball - Union succumbs to Elgin

(January 28, 2012: Elgin, OR 97827) The Elgin Huskies topped the visiting Union Bobcats basketball team by a final score of 44-33 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain game, on Friday, February 3. Elgin will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 11-7 record after their 66-33 league win over Enterprise (Enterprise, OR).

The Bobcats (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Heppner (Heppner, OR). The Mustangs come into the 2A Blue Mountain battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Heppner dropped by Pilot Rock (Pilot Rock, OR), 66-44, in a league battle.
