(January 19, 2012: Alma, KS 66401) The Royal Valley Panthers (Hoyt, KS) basketball crushed the host Wabaunsee Chargers (Alma, KS), 52-29 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Panthers (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Pleasant Ridge (Easton, KS). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Pleasant Ridge was trounced by Chapman (Chapman, KS), 71-46, in a non-league test.

The Chargers now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chapman for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Wabaunsee will clash with a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 71-46 non-league win over Pleasant Ridge (Easton, KS). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 6-4.
