(February 7, 2012: Bell Gardens, CA 90201) Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bell Gardens Lancers (Bell Gardens, CA), 68-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Schurr upgrades its record to 7-17 on the season. The Spartans travel to Montebello (Montebello, CA) to play the Oilers in a Almont bout on Friday, February 10. The Oilers go into the bout with a record of 9-17. Montebello lost 58-51 in their recent league bout against Keppel (Alhambra, CA)
