Texas High School Basketball - Lubbock ripped by Shallowater
(January 3, 2012: Shallowater, TX 79363) In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Shallowater Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 56-18 triumph over the Lubbock Westerners.
In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 4. Shallowater will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 14-4 record after their 52-44 league win over Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX).
With the loss, Lubbock falls to 2-18 on the campaign. The Westerners travel to Coronado (Lubbock, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 17-4.
