(February 27, 2010: Baltimore, MD 21286) Calvert Hall Cardinals (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball team smash the visiting Loyola Blakefield Dons (Towson, MD), 66-44 in a non-league game.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league game, on Sunday, February 28. Calvert Hall will attempt to move on its 19-7 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 20-8 record after their 84-44 non-league win over Goretti (Hagerstown, MD).

With the defeat, Loyola Blakefield moves to 10-12 on the year.
